The Abbot runs on waste fuel and also does not have to pay the Congestion Charge making the experience a green one too. Nick Mead, owner of Tanks a Lot has had the tank for around 20 years and says it still runs without a hitch.
Prices start at £1,600 for two people for a three-hour tour to all the popular sites including Trafalgar Square and Tower Bridge, while safely seated atop a former British Army self-propelled gun.
