Ever wanted to live out an Antarctic fantasy from the comfort of central London? Now you can: a bunch of igloos have popped up by the Thames outside Coppa Club.

Sit back and relax while enjoying views of Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and the Tower of London. (These igloos are made form transparent plastic, rather than ice blocks.) For those of you worried about the temperature dining outside at this time of year, do not fear; the igloos have their own heating systems and blankets.

If you’re still feeling chilly, Coppa Club’s warming cocktail selection includes a maple old fashioned and a spiced berry caipirissima. Some of the igloos fit up to eight people so you can get merry with friends.

For those who are unfamiliar with Coppa Club, their motto is “Drop in for breakfast and stay for dinner. No-one outstays their welcome.”, so it’s definitely a place for eating, drinking, meeting and unwinding.

Built around a central, brass bar that’s open on all-sides, Coppa Club has a raised lounge for working and winding down, a 250-cover restaurant with a marble herringbone floor, and a café with booths and a fireplace.

Their menu focuses on thoughtful, unfussy, European food from small plates and snacks to grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads. There’s a wide selection of breakfast and brunch dishes and the bar serves carefully-chosen wines, beers and classic cocktails as well as new creations.

They are open from early morning until late at night, seven days a week.

The igloos are open to the public now, book an igloo today so you don’t miss out on this unique experience! Their winter menu is launching from 16 November and will remain until the igloos close at the end of the year.
